NextHorizons is a robotics company focused on developing solution-oriented platforms tailored to high-risk operations such as firefighting, underground explosive detection and disposal, and intervention in suspicious objects. Its robotic platforms are mission-adaptable and fall under three main product groups: DEGU, HONEY BADGER, and SNOW LEOPARD. These robots are designed to perform tasks such as reconnaissance, mine detection, convoy support, and firefighting with minimal human intervention and maximum safety.
Each product in the lineup is customizable based on the mission. The project has already filed more than six patent applications covering features such as autonomous mine disposal, portable architecture, and self-management capabilities. Some of the robots are partially powered by solar panels, enhancing their operational efficiency in the field.
Unlike existing market options, NextHorizons’ robots aim to achieve full autonomy—something currently unavailable in other commercial solutions. Most conventional robots lack decision-making capabilities, require extensive training to operate, and are often too bulky and slow to deploy. Meanwhile, threats such as improvised explosive devices (IEDs) remain one of the greatest dangers to security forces, and current methods for extinguishing fires at their source are still inadequate.
