Programmable Autonomous Colony Robot Platform
Mikro-P is a programmable, compact, autonomous colony robot platform. Equipped with 25 sensors and hardware components, Mikro-P can perform complex functions with just a single line of code, making it easily programmable by users of all ages and skill levels.
The first-generation Mikro-P platform is designed to be used alongside or as an alternative to popular development boards such as Arduino, Beaglebone, and Raspberry Pi, for learning software and electronics, developing projects, and conducting various types of research. Mikro-P can be expanded with additional sensors and hardware, making it adaptable to nearly any project.
Thanks to simple functional commands, users can easily assign character modes like timid, brave, or curious, and program their Mikro-P robots within a colony to complete the same task using different approaches.
The ability of Mikro-P units to share data and processes with one another, combined with their affordability and disposability, enables them to be used in a wide range of applications such as security, industry, large-scale data collection, observation and data gathering in areas contaminated by radioactive, biological, or chemical materials, search and rescue operations, agriculture, and 3D mapping of caves and buildings.
