About This Project

Hergele is a local electric scooter manufacturer and an e-mobility vehicle-sharing technology infrastructure provider.
Developed by Turkish engineers and designers, and locally produced, Hergele electric scooters are designed using multidisciplinary methods to overcome the challenges of transportation in cities with various urban structures. These scooters are crafted to adapt to the needs of cities with difficult transportation conditions.

Hergele was developed over the course of more than a year and a half by a team of experts from different disciplines, all graduates of Istanbul Technical University. The collaboration of different fields created unique perspectives that brought originality to the design and expertise to the engineering.

Initially launched for individual use, Hergele now provides the necessary infrastructure and micromobility solutions for electric scooters to be used on vehicle-sharing platforms.

It helps resolve operational issues faced before and during operations, thus enabling the spread of the micromobility culture. By reducing the high pre-setup costs caused by the necessity of meeting demands through imports, and addressing the constant need for vehicle renewal due to the short lifespan of shared vehicles, Hergele ensures a more efficient and sustainable solution.

During operations, Hergele prevents the insufficiencies in the technological infrastructure and after-sales support of vehicle-sharing systems imported from abroad by offering the Hergele Fleet Package.

Hergele provides operators and entrepreneurs with an end-to-end business model, including IoT devices, tracking systems, management panels, mobile applications, and fully operational electric scooters. The provided business model and products can be customized thanks to the modular production process, and tailored to specific usage areas and the needs of individuals or organizations.
