Büyütech, a company that has pioneered many firsts in camera and camera technologies in Turkey, enables vehicles to perceive the world in 3D like humans with its developed smart stereo camera technology.

Operating for 9 years with a focus on camera, image processing, and artificial intelligence technologies, Büyütech has developed over 48,000 cameras that are in operation in more than 120 countries worldwide. In collaboration with TOGG, Büyütech now focuses on automotive camera systems and autonomous technologies. Stating that humans are able to drive vehicles using only their eyes and brains, Büyütech’s CEO, Ömer Orkun Düztaş, pointed out that vehicles could also perform autonomous driving using only cameras, without the need for high-cost systems like radar and lidar.

Büyütech’s next-generation stereo smart camera system, thanks to advanced depth perception algorithms and specialized AI hardware, replaces Lidar technology and provides high-level 3D perception. The smart camera system, with its specialized AI processor, can detect vehicles, pedestrians, traffic signs, and many other objects. It integrates features such as emergency braking systems, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping, which are part of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
