About This Project

ACROME is a technology startup established with the goal of making industrial robot technology more accessible, affordable, and user-friendly. Today, industrial robots play a critical role in sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, and food production, serving as indispensable automation tools for industries aiming for faster, higher-quality, and cost-effective production.

Challenges of Current Industrial Robot Technology

Despite their advantages, the widespread use of industrial robots is hindered by several challenges:

• High initial investment costs

• Complex and expensive programming processes

• Inability to safely collaborate with humans

• Lack of flexibility in production processes

Traditional industrial robots are typically required to operate behind safety cages, which not only increases costs but also limits the flexibility of production systems.

ACROME’s Vision

ACROME aims to overcome these challenges by developing a new generation of industrial robots that are:

• Affordable and easy to acquire

• Easily programmable without technical background

• Capable of safely working alongside and interacting with humans

The goal is to enable not just large industrial companies but also SMEs and educational institutions to access and benefit from robot technology.

Strategic Partnerships and Projects

• In collaboration with National Instruments, ACROME develops Mechatronics Training and Research Kits.

• At TURKISH HABOM—a new initiative by Turkish Airlines for high-quality, cost-effective aircraft maintenance and technical training—ACROME carried out the first test equipment software development project.

• ACROME also developed the robotic components of a visual inspection system for Vestel, used to automatically verify the accuracy of manufactured parts.

By not only producing robots but also contributing to the technological transformation of the industry, ACROME aims to strengthen Turkey’s competitive edge in the global market.
