About This Project

A revolutionary technology such as virtual reality is still being experienced by users with a keyboard & mouse duo or gamepad, and the visual and auditory experience in virtual reality is incomplete due to the unavailability of human movements. Another important consequence of the inability to transfer human movements to virtual reality applications is nausea. Although the brain visually observes that it is moving, the body shows a natural reaction and reacts with nausea, since it is aware that it is physically stationary. Although brands such as HTC and Oculus have released their own control devices to solve both problems, their use is limited to the walls of your room, and contrary methods are used for the VR experience in games and applications that need to move in large areas.

 

WalkoVR is a motion platform that solves all of these problems, was developed for virtual reality technology and allows user movements to be transferred to virtual reality as it is. Virtual reality provides infinite space to the user wearing the glasses. It is a control interface where the user can move freely in the real world without changing places, just like in the real world: he can walk, run, jump, bend, rotate 360 degrees.

 

WalkOVR aims to apply the technologies it has developed for motion solutions in its side equipment and plans to expand its product range, especially wireless weapons. Imagine that games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Crysis, Counter Strike, which are played and followed by millions of people around the world, are played with one-on-one user gestures; you are replacing world-famous Football Players such as Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez in a game that is usually played in front of the screen, such as FIFA. WalkOVR aims to improve the virtual reality experience, even to “change the way the game is played”.
