About This Project

Pesticides, harsh winter conditions, various disease-causing organisms, and global warming are all leading to the death of honeybees and the destruction of their products. Honeybees, which are the primary source of 80% of the world’s and our country’s fruit and vegetable production, are essential to both ecological balance and our health. The extinction of honeybees affects both the environment and our well-being. In some regions, human labor has even been used for plant pollination to fill this gap. However, it is extremely difficult to match the productivity of honeybees, which can visit 2,000 flowers a day, with human labor, making it crucial to save these unique creatures.

Thanks to the support of TUBITAK 1512, we have developed a product that improves hive health, increases the number of bees in the hives by up to four times, and boosts honey production. Moreover, the product we developed is also capable of eliminating pesticide residues! With these exciting results, we can save both honeybees and the beekeeping industry, which is one of the most important sectors in the world. With this product, made of beneficial bacteria, we can save beekeeping worldwide, protect nature, and help prevent hunger.
